Christina Lauria grew up in South Philadelphia during the 1970s and 1980s, the setting that inspired her novel, The In-Between Days. She studied writing in college and has been writing stories since childhood. Her fiction explores memory, family, friendship, and the ordinary moments that shape who we become. The music, films, and neighborhoods of her youth continue to inform her storytelling.

She lives in New Jersey with her husband and two cats.
